3D-printed earrings - Lagre Lace Bats

The earrings have a total length of 8cm, including the fish hook. The widest part measures 3cm.

One earring weighs 2,5g, including fish hook and rings and the pair weighs 5g in total.

The fish hook and rings are made of silver 925 and the body of the earring is made of PLA filament.

PLA stands for polylactic acid and is a plastic material. It's typically made from fermented plant starch from corn, cassava, sugarcane or sugar beet pulp.

PLA starts to warp and soften at around 50-60 degrees Celsius, meaning it's shape can get deformed by heat. We therefore urge you not to leave your earrings out in direct sunlight for any longer periods of time, even inside behind a window. Store them in a cool and dark space.

When silver is left lying out, or not being used regularly, it can oxidize and darken due to sulphur and humidity in the air. This can be removed by polishing or cleaning the silver.

Since PLA is sensitive to UV light and higher temperatures, there is a risk your new earring might warp and deform if left in direct sunlight for too long. However, accident can occur, and we want you to be happy with your new earrings. We are therefore offering to replace any PLA printed part of your earring that is deformed by heat and sun. Reach out to our customer support, and we will send you a replacement free of charge. Please save the silver hook and rings and reuse them when you get the new replacement.
