Wash & Care

All garments last longer if you care for them in a gentle way, and we want your new lingerie to last as long as possible. That is the reasons we have written "Gentle care goes a long way" on all our labels. We have designed and produced your lingerie to last for long daily use, how you wash and care for your lingerie is equally important for how long they last.Modern washing machines combined with modern laundry detergents, can clean your garments at low temperatures. In the past, that was not the case and the best way to get something clean used to be washing at high temperatures.

We recommend that you wash all our lingerie at low temperatures with a mild detergent without bleach or softener. A separate washing bag is great to prevent your lingerie to snag or be damaged by other garments in the washing machine, all lace is especially at risk for this. Straps are also protected by a washing bag; it prevents them to hopelessly tangle with other garments.
After wash, gently stretch out the elastics and seams a bit, to make sure the garment looks nice and flat before line drying them. Even though you use a washing bag, the straps on The Cage Bra and The Crossover Hipster can tangle and crinkle a bit. It’s worth taking a minute or two to untangle and flatten all the straps out before they dry.
After gently stretching and flattening your garments, we recommend that you line dry your lingerie out of direct sunlight to preserve the colour. The heat and friction inflicted on your lingerie from using a tumble dryer damages the fibres, so we really don't recommend this. Stretch fabric will eventually sag and the elastics will stretch out of shape and loose their "memory", heat is a real killer for everything stretchy.
