We love earrings and made a dream come true designing our very own inspired by the different lace designs we use in our lingerie collections. This design was inspired by our gorgeous lace with bees used in The Crossover Hipster, and is a smaller version of the original earring. The erring has a honeycomb design, and the right and left earring is mirrored.

These earrings are 3D printed and have beautiful contrasting layer heights and colours to give the earrings an interesting visual effect. The bottom half of the orange, pink and blue colourways are made with a semigloss translucent layer that allows light to shine though. The orange and blue colourway is highlighted by a top half that is made with a matt onyx black colour with glittering flakes. The white and pink colourway is highlighted by a top half made with a purple colour with a beautiful shimmering effect. The white colourway is not translucent in the bottom half and its surface is matt.

Dimensions

The earrings have a total length of 5,5cm, including the fish hook, and he widest part near the bottom measures 1,8cm in width.

One earring weighs less than 1g, including fish hook and rings, and the pair weighs 1,9g in total. Total leightweight!

Composition

The fish hook and rings are made of silver 925 and the body of the earring is made of PLA filament.

PLA stands for polylactic acid and is a plastic material. It's typically made from fermented plant starch from corn, cassava, sugarcane or sugar beet pulp.

Care guide

PLA starts to warp and soften at around 50-60 degrees Celsius, meaning it's shape can get deformed by heat. We therefore urge you not to leave your earrings out in direct sunlight for any longer periods of time, even inside behind a window. Store them in a cool and dark space.

When silver is left lying out, or not being used regularly, it can oxidize and darken due to sulphur and humidity in the air. This can be removed by polishing or cleaning the silver.

Warrenty

Since PLA is sensitive to UV light and higher temperatures, there is a risk your new earring might warp and deform if left in direct sunlight for too long. However, accident can occur, and we want you to be happy with your new earrings. We are therefore offering to replace any PLA printed part of your earring that is deformed by heat and sun. Reach out to our customer support, and we will send you a replacement free of charge. Please save the silver hook and rings and reuse them when you get the new replacement.
