Slower Fashion

Fast fashion revolves around producing large quantities and to offer new items all the time, inviting everyone to consume more often than we need too. As a result, we have stopped using our garments over a longer period of time, and this in turn means the quality doesn't need to be high. This cycle of overproduction and overconsumption is also causing major economic and environmental damages around the globe, from the countries that produce the garments to the countries that end up with piles of unwanted trash. Its a waste of precious resources, puts a huge strain on our environment and is a waste of everyone’s money.

We at QNTL don't want to contribute to the growing number of unwanted garments in the world and wish to slow things down. That is why we have decided to work according to a different business model where we only produce our garments when you want them, and only in the quantity you order. This is called made-to-order, or production-on-demand. We also decided to produce everything ourselves, in our own atelier in Stockholm. This allows us to focus on a high level of quality and to offer you a few customization options. Instead of offering new styles all the time, we intent to focus on items we think you will love to use for many years to come. When we have developed something that we feel proud of, a new colour or a new style, we will add it to the web shop and spread the news. All of these things combined, is our contribution in slowing things down and reducing the harmful effect the fashion industry is having on our world. 

With a made-to-order model, you will have to wait a bit longer for your order to arrive compared to many other brands, since your item doesn't exist yet when you place your order. The current production time is approx. 5-7 business days from when the order confirmation is sent. However, if the workload is high, production might take even longer. We will of course notify you immediately if this is the case.

We will also happily help you find your size to avoid you having to order multiple sizes just to try them out. We strongly recommend that you find a measuring tape and take your measurements, please see our Size & Measurement Guide for information on how to take your body measurements and to find your QNTL size. Nevertheless, you will be able to return your items if you change your mind or they don't fit you well. If the garment is in pristine unused condition, you will get a full refund. However, if we find any evidence that the garments have been used or washed, we can't accept the return due to the delicate nature of how lingerie is worn. Our goal is to provide garments that you can enjoy for a long time, and to slow down the way we consume fashion by not joining the crazy circus of fast fashion. We strongly believe a well-crafted garment is worth waiting for and we hope you will feel the same way.
